S&P Global: Russia’s Manufacturing PMI rises to 54.5 in September
MOSCOW, Oct 2 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) grew to 54.5 in September from 52.7 in August, above the no-change mark of 50, S&P Global said in a statement on Monday.
"The seasonally adjusted S&P Global Russia Manufacturing PMI stood at 54.5 points in September, up from 52.7 points in August, marking the sharpest improvement in business conditions since January 2017. Overall growth accelerated for the second consecutive month, noticeably above the long-term series average," the researchers said.
An index value above 50 points indicates an increase in economic activity, while below - its decline.
